EPIC aspires to significantly scale high-quality work-based learning experiences through a national network of accredited clearinghouses that provide authentic, employer-led problem-based learning experiences to learners and workers.


This opportunity will be offered at local Clubs across the nation and will support young adults in securing gateway credentials on the career path of their dreams. Young people who participate in the program will be able to put their participation and completion on their resumes. Participation in this program will be nationally recognized as a program

that prepares elite candidates through a rigorous development program.


The learners will collaborate with you on the challenge, how this might be approached, what solutions could be posed and present you with final presentations.

Expected outcomes and deliverables

A marketing plan that includes:

  • Empathy interviews of 16-24 year olds to understand what they need and want from a program like this
  • A SOAR analysis of each audience: 16-24 year olds, potential employers, post-secondary institutions, and workforce boards
  • A 20-minute presentation of a 6-month marketing plan including: Social media engagement, traditional advertising, targeted email marketing, and other innovative approaches to reach the targeted audiences, which may include merchandising, webinars, live events, etc.
  • A suggested budget to execute the marketing plan
  • Reflection on the experience with BGCA staff

The goal of this project is to develop a marketing plan that will excite potential 16-24 year olds to participate AND build credibility among potential employers, post-secondary institutions, and workforce boards nation-wide.
